During my recent visit to Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with clients right in the midst of this luxurious paradise. The first-hand feedback along with our day trip gave me an excellent feel for this upscale property.

What's at Secrets Moxchè?

Secrets Moxché is a all inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico with 485 suites and 7 pools. Each restaurant offers a unique international flavor and style, making every meal an adventure. And the drinks - top-shelf and served with a smile, always. The architecture and layout have a tropical paradise theme with rustic native wood accents. The Impressions package is an upgrade for those who want more exclusive experiences.

There are incredible views of the coast and ocean from many of the restaurants and bars located on the upper levels.

Who Should Go?

It is an adults-only property so no little ones permitted. Those who like the no hassle of all-inclusive upscale properties will like the excellent food and pool areas. The resort lacks an impressive beach area but there is a faux beach with white sand in the largest pool area. The pools and views make up for the beach in my opinion (unless you need a beach!).

What's Unique?

I'm a sucker for a good pool, and Secrets Moxché has seven. Plus it has these cool man-made cenotes that are just magical. And for those looking for a bit of pampering, the spa is a haven of tranquility. There is an option to upgrade to the Impressions building which houses its own pools, restaurants and gathering areas.

My clients reserved the special 7 course tasting dinner for Impressions visitors (extra charge) at Teodoro and enthusiastically endorsed the experience. It's so nice to hear "One of the best meals ever," based on your recommendation!

There is also a theatre with different live shows every night for entertainment. And, if you enjoy a bit of mystery and music, find out how to enter the Speakeasy after dark for something a bit fun and exciting.
